Several years ago Becky & her husband, Greg, opened up The Emporium in down town Castle Rock, CO.  Establishing the business with the right look and attention to customer service was a top priority in those early days. Presently it is a destination for shoppers from all over the Denver metro area. Today, under the management of their two children, The Emporium is thriving with large crowds especially for special events such as Holiday Open House and Girls Night Out.

While Greg & the adult kiddos took care of business at The Emporium Becky became bored and began to wonder what she could do for fun. Turning towards a lifetime passion of travel she began to explore purchasing a travel agency franchise. After all, she was on her third passport (as an adult) and loved to spend time just researching trips whether she planned to go or not.

So she purchased a franchise with Cruise Planners. No, they don’t just book cruises! Finding her niche in matching cruises to people she could be called the Matchmaker Queen of Cruises. Another niche that is so Becky is planning bucket list travel for individuals and groups. She loves the nerdy details of researching which is so perfect for those who don’t want to fuss or spend copious amounts of time planning their trip.

Becky & Greg have had a lifetime of giving back. If you visit The Emporium, they ask that you please stop in to the cafe in the back for lunch. There you will be served a delicious meal by the participants of Wellspring. Wellspring is a non-profit serving adults with special needs. You don’t leave without a happy tummy or a smile on your face.

So Becky wondered how she could give back through her travel agency. The answer came pretty quickly…Compassion International, focusing on critical needs for people around the world.
